GOAL OF THE PRECINCT CHAIR
The
primary goal of the Precinct Chair is be to build the Republican Party in their neighborhood. Each precinct chair needs
to be an expert on their area and what it takes for Republican candidates to win there. The job is year round - not just
before an election. Effective Precinct Chairs will: 1) increase the precincts turnout in the Republican Primary 2) increase the number of straight party ticket Republican votes cast in the General Election

as the link between grass roots voters and elected officeholders, the Republican Party, and Republican candidates.
Get Out The Vote (GOTV). To help provide a winning margin for Republican candidates by:
- educating voters through literature distribution and personal contact - contacting unregistered, potential
GOP voters and getting them registered. - contacting registered voters to determine how they might vote in upcoming elections - encouraging GOP-favorable voters to vote during the early voting period - assist GOP-favorable voters to get to the
polls

Election Judge
The Precinct Chair
often serves as election Judge, or an election clerk, in their precinct. This is an excellent way to become familiar with
election procedures and get to know and be known by the voters.
