Bill Flores (17); Quico Canseco(23); and R. Blake Farenthold(27) defeated long time incumbents.

In addition, Republicans added 22 additional seats in the Texas House of Representatives to establish a 99-51 majority !

Lt Governor Dewhurst To Visit

Lt Governor David Dewhurst will visit Wichita Falls on May 19 to visit with Republicans in Wichita and surrounding counties. The Wichita County Republican Party will host a lunch for the Lt Governor at noon at the Howard Johnson Plaza Hotel (401 Broad).
Following lunch the Lt. Governor will address the Republicans.
Lunch is $20 and RESERVATIONS are REQUIRED and may be made by calling (940) 716-0917 by Monday, May 17.
