Wide Spread Republican Victories
What a tremendous victory Republicans in Texas and across America expreienced on November 2nd. Texas increased their Republican
representation in Congress by three and added at least 22 seats to the Texas House of Representatives to establish a clear-cut
majority. Across the nation the Republicans gained 6 additional seats in the US Senate and over 60 in the House (some seats
are not yet determined). They also added to the Republican majority of Governors and now control the majority of houses in
State legislatures.
While the hoped for take-over of the US Senate did not occur the gains are sufficient to give the
Republicans effective control. We were successful because we did not listen to the political pundits and play dead. For whatever
reason, and not necessaily because we can govern better, the Ameican people have given us responsibility to turn America around
and re-direct the ship. Without doubt, they were not pleased with the heavy-handed manner with which the Democrats forced
through legislation they did not favor, and then tried to blame everyone else for their failures.
The TEA Party movement
provided the fire under the pot and got America out of their rocking chairs and involved more than in many years. Without
the tremendous citizen involvement this would have been just another "ho-hum" mid-term election.
NOW, we must,
as Republicans, prove we can govern within the will of the people. We cannot be parochial. We cannot be divided. We must put
our most unified face forward and prove that we can take the USS America in the "right" direction. 2012 will be
here before we can say "Election" and we must continue our agressive efforts to stengthen our party and our country.
So, VICTORY 2012 HAS BEGUN and a new website so named will soon be up and running. Join the effort to keep the ship turing
in the "right" direction.

ELECTION VICTORY
THE NOVEMBER 2ND ELECTION IS NOW ONLY 25 DAYS AWAY.
It's importance to all of us increases each day as the Democrats
try to respond to the overwhlming defeat they face. We must keep working hard (and smart) to make sure they are defeated.
In states from Massachusetts to California and Florida to Washington competent, conservative Republican candidates are running
hard to defeat their Democratic opponents. Mud is being slung like raindrops in an April shower and truth is not a major issue
among the Democrats.
We are posed to gain control of the US House of Representatives and very possibly the US Senate.
We will also claim a large majority of the Governships that are up for vote and many of the state legislatures.
VICTORY
IS NOT GUARANTEED, HOWEVER, AND WE MUST MAKE A STRONG FINISH EVERWHERE.
This requires your support with donations and
time. In Texas we need your help to defeat four liberal Democrats who have sided with Obama and Pelosi on every issue, even
when the people of their district were saying "no".
MOST IMPORTANTLY, WE NEED YOUR VOTE AND THOSE OF YOUR FAMILY,
FRIENDS, AND ASSOCIATES TO INSURE A STRONG REPUBLICAN VICTORY. So tell everyone you know or come into contact with how important
it is that they vote for CONSERVATIVE REPUBLICAN CANDIDATES in order to help regain control of our country.
Newt Gingrich
has stated the close very effectively "Pay Checks, NOT Food Stamps".
We must all work smart and hard during
the next three weeks.

Let's Get These Four
Listed above are the four Democrats we must retire from the Texas Congressional delegation. Listed below that is information
on how to reach the campaign offices of the Republican candidates who are seeking to replace them.
The four Democrats
have voted consistently to support the liberal, socialist Obama Agenda. Removing them, and replacing them with four conservative
Texas Republicans can be our contribution to retiring Pelosi. Texas Republicans in the know believe these four Republican
can be elected. Let's get behind them with our our time, talents, and money to make sure of their VICTORY IN 2010.

RPT Convention
What an exciting gathering of enthused, charged-up Texas Republicans met in Dallas last weekend. Words of encouragement form
all our State-wide elected officials (candidates) and many of our Congressional and Legislative incumbents and new candidates.
The common thread was that VICTORY in 2010 IS ESSENTIAL. Now we must get to work and make sure we elected more Republicans
and retire as many Democrats as possible.
You can help with your fianancial assistance to the CRC and the TRHC. The CRC
mission is to elect more local (county) candidates and the TRHC goal is to increase the number of Republican members of the
Texas House. Both are important, but increasing our margin in the Texas House is essential if we expect to pass essential
legislation during the next session.
You may submit your donation to the CRC or the TRHC by going to
www.texasgop.org and clicking on the boxes you will find on the right side of your screen. The CRC Goal is to raise $120000 - let's do
our part. Oh, don't forget a donation to the Wichita County Republican Party, which may be made at
www.wichitagop.net .

RPT Convention
We're off the Republican Party
of Texas State Convention today. It has been going on since tuesday when the committees began meeting. The First General Session
wil begin tomorrow at noon, followed by the first Senate District Caucuses. Saturday will include another round of Sentate
district Causcuses and another General Session where the Party Platform and State Chairman and Vice Chairman will be elected.
Indications are, the sessions will be spirited as delegates discuss the direction they wish the Party Platform to take us
during the next two years.
Of
course, there will be political speeches and candidate hand shaking. All in all, an interesting and exciting two days.
To keep up with the action go to www,texasgop.org
or a blog that Lt. Gov. David Dewhurst is hosting (just google David Dewhurst to find it).
